Spectrum for Living, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization, helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities and in the homes of families caring for a disabled loved one.
If you don't know, my sister Joanne has Cerebral Palsy.
She is an adult now and my mom cannot care for her like she use to.
After my mom's first mastectomy, Joanne was placed in the care of a group home.
Now she resides with the Spectrum for Living family.
Due to all the cuts in government funding, non-for-profit organizations like this one relies on the generosity of donations.
